Facts or Fables | True or False | What to believe?

It’s not “simply” the flu, it’s deadlier, more contagious, and more likely to severely disrupt our health care system.

Concerning the novel Coronavirus COVID-19 there are a lot of sites and especially Social Media platforms that share information about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). It is therefore difficult to separate the facts from the fables and to see what is right or wrong, true or false… I am not the one having the answers, but I will try to give some facts about Coronavirus COVID-19 that seem true. Off course any suggestions for good and reliable facts about Coronavirus COVID-19 are welcome via the form that can be found at the bottom of this page. COVID-19 FACTS

  • It’s a Pandemic
  • There are several vaccines available and being distributed
  • There seem to be some specific treatments now, however still very uncertain.
  • You can catch COVID-19, no matter how sunny or hot the weather is.
  • People of all ages can be infected by the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV), but the elderly and/or ill are more prone to serious complications if catching it.
  • Antibiotics do not work against viruses, they only work against bacteria.
  • Mutations are normal in a virus like COVID-19 (NRA virus)
  • Diseases can make anyone sick regardless of their race or ethnicity.
  • The Coronavirus spreads much faster then SARS.
  • Wearing masks does not lower Oxygen or increase CO2 levels.

COVID-19 FABLES

  • Being able to hold your breath for 10 seconds or more without coughing or feeling discomfort DOES NOT mean you are free from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) or any other lung disease.
  • The new coronavirus was not deliberately created or released by people, maybe by accident, but that has not been proven yet.
  • 5G mobile networks DO NOT spread COVID-19 (Viruses cannot travel on radio waves/mobile networks and COVID-19 is spreading in many countries that do not have 5G mobile networks.)
  • Drinking alcohol does not protect you against COVID-19 and can be dangerous
  • Taking a hot bath will not prevent you from catching COVID-19.

In december 2014, United States President Obama spoke to the National Institutes of Health about the U.S. response to the Ebola virus.
